Maternity Services - Becoming a parent is an important and exciting experience and we want to ensure that you have the right support and care around you when you access our maternity services. We are able to offer you a range of choices and services in our hospitals, community and home settings.

Registy Office - Peterborough Register Office provides a professional registration service for life's important events such as births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships as well as celebratory services such as citizenship ceremonies, naming ceremonies, and the renewal of marriage vows.

Most referrals to other specialists will require you seeing or speaking with a GP. However, there are a number of local services, listed below, that you are able to make self referrals to. Clicking on the title will take you to the relevant page. 

 

NHS 111 Mental Health advice - If you're worried about a mental health symptom, answer some questions and we will tell you what to do next.

Every Turn Mental Health - Talking therapy, nursing care, crisis support, dementia care and community wellbeing.  

PhysiotherapyWe are able to assess and manage many musculoskeletal conditions involving the muscles, nerves or joints. We are also able to assess many pelvic health conditions. We are able to accept referrals for anyone aged 16 and over who is registered with a GP in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough.

PodiatryPodiatry is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower leg with podiatrists working to improve the mobility, independence and the quality of life for patients by providing treatment for a wide range of problems affecting the feet.

Sexual Health - iCash offers either a telephone consultation or face to face appointment as appropraite to your needs. 

Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Mental Health - Keep Your Head brings together reliable information on mental health and wellbeing for children, young people, adults, professionals, and schools across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.

Wheelchair - Providing wheelchair services to those registered with a Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG GP practice

Stop Smoking - The Swap to Stop scheme supports adult smokers to quit their cigarettes for a free vape starter kit as part of a twelve-week programme of support.

Aspire Recovery Service - Reducing your alcohol consumption, or worried about a family member or friend.

Good Neighbours - We are a community-based charity that harnesses the skills and goodwill of local volunteers to help vulnerable people (18 and over) in 15 rural parishes across Peterborough, where friends and family are unable to do so.

Age UK - Working with and for older people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough where they provide a wide range of services and support. 

The Silver Line - Silver Line Helpline gives anyone aged 55 or over the opportunity to exchange a friendly word, access support, or enjoy a long enriching conversation.  

Peterborough Locality Services - advice and information on local services for Peterborough.

Caring Together - Information, advice and guidance to carers.

Making Spaces - supports people who care for someone with a mental health condition. 

Non-urgent advice: Support for Specific Needs

Cambridgeshire Deaf Association - The dedicated team of staff and volunteers provide hearing aid maintenance and battery supply throughout Cambridgeshire.

Disability Peterborough - A local centre for free, confidential and impartial advice and information for physically disabled people, their carers and families. 

Autism Anglia - Specific resources and support available in Peterborough to enable people with autism to live a fulfilled life (including the Autism Alert Card)

Dementia Care - Alzheimer's Society offers a range of support services. From a listening ear on the phone to a visit in person and opportunities to connect with others.
